4 Tips for Easter Photography Styling
Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota, Florida Family Photographer
Are you struggling with coming up with the perfect outfit for your Easter family photos? If you are, I am here to help. Here are my top four tips for your Easter photography styling so you and your family will look fabulous:
No matchy, no matchy
First and foremost, you will have a successful and beautiful Easter family photo shoot when everyone is dressed up in complementing colors. It is best and preferable that not everyone matches, but a uniform look can be accomplished just by wearing complementing colors. Think soft neutrals, pastels, blue, denim and white or pink and florals.
Diverse tones of the same color work well
If choosing coordinating colors will be a challenge, try choosing different shades of the same color. You will still show diversity as well as consistency with regard to colors.
Consider your location and what will look best there
Perhaps you may want to consider the location of where you plan to take your Easter photos before you start planning your wardrobe. Will you be outdoors in a bright green field filled with colorful flowers or at the beach or park with more neutral colors? Your wardrobe should coordinate with the colors and atmosphere of your photo location.
Avoid crazy patterns and logos
As I recommend to all my clients, I highly encourage you to wear clothing that does not have heavy patterns or logos. These distract the attention from you and your family. When you and others look at these photos, you want them to be drawn to you and your family, not the huge flowers, patterns or crazy logos on your clothes. You want clothes that complement each other and not take away the focus from you and your family.
Hope these tips help you have beautiful Easter family portraits.
