I have always loved listening to music. I used to listen to music while I did homework. It helped me concentrate. Really! I know some people can’t have that kind of distraction when they work, but it works for me and still does to this day. It’s my own kind of “white noise.” I used to listen to music when I would go to bed. However, when I got married, it would bother my husband, so I stopped playing it when going to sleep. I know. The sacrifices we make for our husbands. :-) I guess I could now use my airpods, but they start to bother my ears when I lay on my side with them in. And, no, I can’t sleep on my back.
When I am working now editing a session, working on my website or working in general, I always have my music on. I have a little desktop Bluetooth speaker I use so I get a little more amplification than just playing it straight from my phone.
With today’s technology, it is so easy to listen to music, isn’t it? We can download our own playlists on our iPods, phones and computers and listen to various stations on iHeart Radio, Spotify or Pandora. It’s amazing!
I still have my original iPod (way before iPhones came out) and listen to all the different songs I had downloaded through iTunes. If I get tired of those, I just switch to my iPhone and play 70’s and 80’s music on iHeart Radio.
Okay. You are probably wondering what this blog post has to do with my photography business. Nothing, really, but just thought I would take you into my little world for a brief moment.
What’s your favorite music you like to listen to while you are working? Post your comments. I would love to hear from you.
