Baby Safety for Posed Sessions

The safety of your baby is always the utmost of importance to me and top priority during our photo sessions.  These are my personal safety rules:
​

• I never leave baby unattended in a prop or on a posing bag
• I will use you, the parent, as a spotter next to your baby when using props
• Not every baby will pose in the same way.  Therefore, I will never force a baby into any pose where it looks like they are uncomfortable or stressed.  Instead, I will adjust him/her to where they are comfortable.
• I will always have my camera strap secured around my neck or wrist when shooting from above
• I use extreme care and caution when placing a baby inside or on an object to ensure it does not break or fall by placing weights in the bottom of baskets, crates, etc. to secure them.
• I will never use any props that are breakable​

I have read, viewed and studied many newborn safety tutorials and am very comfortable with handling your precious baby.  You can rest assured I will treat your baby as if he/she is my own.

Your baby is a beautiful miracle and photographing them is such an honor to me.  I go into every session with this on my mind so I will provide you with gorgeous images and great memories that will last a lifetime.
